I love Lynda[dot]com
I am an avid fan of Lynda.com online training library
Are you trying to learn how to use your latest software programme and can't figure out the finer details?
Lynda.com has thousands of videos to watch and I always find something new to learn about.
Lynda Weinman, co-founder of Lynda.com, wrote "Designing Web Graphics", published in 1996. This book was one of the first web design books I owned, and is well thumbed.

How would I have managed?
Without Lynda's book?
In the early days of the Internet, I had the first quilting website in Australia, and had to learn as I went. Browsers were clunky and almost no pictures, because they took too long to load, so web design was largely about text design.
I scoured the bookshops which specialised in computer books — very few and far between.
Then I found Lynda's book, and tried out everything she offered inside. That was the start of my love affair with web design.
The book has been rewritten to encompass the many new features of web pages, and web design, making it a must-have for budding web designers.
