How to get there by plane
from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
You can fly into Newcastle Airport and from there you will be picked up by your hotel bus. Or you can hire a car at the airport and drive yourself, so that you are free to go where you want.
How to get there by train
from Sydney, Brisabane or Newcastle
Countrylink trains leave from Sydney Central railway and travel between Sydney and Brisbane daily.
Depart from the train at Maitland or Singleton, and arrange with your accommodation provider for pick-up to take you to where you are staying.
How to get there by car
from Sydney
Head north out of Sydney, following the signs to Newcastle.
You will travel on the F3 Freeway, a fast road — toll free, and get to the Hunter Region in about one and a half hours.
Ask your hire car company for a map of the region and she'll be apples!
